Tell Us All About You!

I received my BA from Vassar College in 2008. I have been an orthopedic physical therapist since 2016 after receiving my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s University. I am a board-certified specialist in orthopedics following a residency at Kaiser Permanente. I have additionally been a pelvic floor physical therapist since 2018, with an emphasis on prenatal and postpartum care. I have experience as a yoga instructor and spent many years as a dancer and figure skater. My passion is helping people reach their optimal physical health and performance, particularly mothers and parents. Since becoming a parent in 2020 my love of helping people through pregnancy and postpartum has only grown.

Full List of Services

Chiropractic 30 Minutes or 60 Minutes

Regular chiropractic sessions in pregnancy and postpartum provide benefits beyond relief from discomfort, assisting in the maintenance of your nervous system’s balance and helping your body adjust to the challenges of pregnancy and the duties of nurturing a newborn. The care you receive can help enhance your entire well-being throughout this tender maternal phase.

Pediatric Chiropractic 30 minutes

Gentle fingertip-holds to the spine of your baby can help with the mobility of their joints and help them feel more comfortable as they adjust to their world after birth.

This can help with colic, gas, spitting up, difficulty with breastfeeding, discomfort in car seat, and tension.

Postpartum Body Reset 90 Minutes

Healing from carrying and birthing a baby is hard work. This treatment helps you in unwinding your tight neck and back. We speed up the healing process and reduce inflammation with a gentle alignment and massage to the areas that need it most. Adjustment and Massage

Includes Chiropractic Alignment, restorative massage to the womb, compression boots, PEMF therapy, and time to process birth story if desired.

Mercier Therapy for Fertility Package

(6) 1 hour sessions which include womb healing, chiropractic work, and coaching throughout IVF cycle.

How did you get to your practice? Was there a pivotal ”closing doors” moment when you heard the calling?

The care I received while pregnant was life changing, not just for me but for how my kids entered the world. I adjusted them both right after birth and can’t imagine how pregnancy and postpartum would have gone without this ability to help my body and theirs. This work continues to inspire me as I witness babies turning their heads in directions they couldn’t, able to feed, moms able to get back pain relief in their 3rd trimester to feel robust in their birth, infertility resolve and pregnancies carried to full term. There is no greater joy than becoming a parent, and my greatest pleasure is to help ease this transition, physically and emotionally.

What’s your approach with clients?

I love to impart wisdom like a guide and hold their hand like a coach. Whether someone is suffering from years of infertility, or struggling postpartum, or having a hard physical time during their pregnancy, I meet people where they are and gently guide them to relief, release and help them discover a new feeling of strength in their body.

What is Special About Your Sessions

I love to employ a sensory experience to fully help the nervous system. For instance, during the postpartum body reset I use a combination of a relaxing infrared mat, healing music, essential oils and other scents in order to submerge the body into a relaxed state.

Best Tip For Postpartum

Schedule bodywork for after your birth! The focus for parents is entirely on their new baby but when you receive bodywork after your birth, you can release the tension from pregnancy and labor and help your body do all the important work of caring for a newborn. “You cannot serve from an empty vessel”

Favorite Family Activity in LA

This one is completely overdone and obvious but our favorite family activity is the beach. The multifactorial sensory experience: the magnesium from the water and sand that relaxes us and the negative ions that cleanse the lungs. The water and waves are always invigorating and cleansing, the time communing with nature and receiving the sound of the waves crashing by our greatest mother, the ocean.

Favorite Date

Favorite date night in LA is getting a massage then going to eat Shabu Shabu and sushi in Old Town Pasadena. Completely restores me!

A Ritual or Practice For Your Wellbeing

I use my Healthyline Mat (infrared, PEMF and negative ions) along with a good stick of incense and taking slow and rhythmic meditative breaths. Nothing I have found yet is more grounding or restorative in such a short time.
