Becoming a new mom can be lonely. Join our community.

Our Postpartum Support Groups are safe spaces for people who have recently given birth, designed to help navigate and celebrate the shift that comes from this event. We meet to relax, to learn, and to build a community among newly postpartum mothers (and birthing people). Come get your questions answered, sit in circle with other postpartum moms, and feel heard. We do breathing exercises, share birth stories (optional), normalize the postpartum experience and have tea.

There are two formats available: a 3-week series and a 6-week series.

Some people choose to do one or the other, while some do both! There isn’t overlap in content, and the vibes are a little different. Keep scrolling to learn more!

3-Week Postpartum Support Group*

Open to anyone who birthed within last 6 months. Led by a postpartum doula and newborn care specialist, Erica Hunt, we share birth stories, talk about the transition into parenthood and leave time to talk about infant care and babywearing.

*This 3-week series is included in the Preparing for 4th Trimester Class. To waive the fee, use the code provided in the confirmation email from that class.

6-Week Postpartum Support Group

Open to anyone who has birthed within the last 12 months.

This is Village Birth’s version of a Mommy-and-Me class. Instead of a focus on newborn education and development, our focus is on the mother. We honor this season of life with discussion and mindfulness around the changes that happen in the home, relationships, physical body, and identity.

Led by a doula and therapist, April Trettel, this is a safe space to build community and honor this transformation. Babies welcome!

Early Fall Series:
6 Thursdays September 12 – October 17
