About Tanya

Tanya Veluz, LMFT is a mother of a grade schooler and a Marriage and Family Therapist of 15 years who graduated from Pepperdine University. She is deeply dedicated to supporting new and existing families. She has extensive training in perinatal, parenting with an emphasis on Interpersonal Neurobiology, couples and trauma. She has run postpartum groups, both for clients with moderate and severe postpartum symptoms, for 6 years. She also has run parenting groups for parents of grade school children and adolescents for 7 years. Her biggest joy is seeing parents learn and grow to feel confident in themselves and through that internal change their children thrive.

I want to support parents in learning and experiencing themselves in new ways, being confident, feeling seen and supported on their journey.

Recovering From Postpartum

This group will provide space to talk about experiences parents have postpartum when struggling with symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. Participants will also learn treatment techniques such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Impersonal Neurobiology, and Somatic work to help improve coping. If you are not feeling yourselves after baby and need strategies to recover, this group is for you.


8-week class on Tuesdays 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM 

Starts Oct 19th, no group the week of Thanksgiving 

Cost: $400 for the 8-week course 

Babies in arms are welcome
